Day 5 – Trade routes

The twelve days of Craft City is a series of articles made to explain the major functionalities of the game twelve days before the official launch. These articles are open to all and will still be available after the game’s release date.

Craft City is a place where players come to build a part of it with other players around the world. The game takes advantage of this multiplayer aspect by giving mayors the possibility to establish trade routes between each other.

What’s a trade route you ask? They serve as a link to share craftsmen experience between two nearby players. They also serve as a beneficial partnership between two neighborhoods to increase their local funding.

When establishing a trade route, you and your new partner will both benefit from it. Masteries and local funding help will be shared on either side. The good thing is that there is no limit to how many players choose you as their trade partner. Be a friend to anyone surrounding you and good things might happen!

The size and the amount of trade routes that you can establish is based on how big your neighborhood has grown to. It doesn’t make sense to send your employees to faraway places when you only have a handful of them to execute daily tasks. Let’s be wise and trade accordingly!
