Day 7 – Global market

The twelve days of Craft City is a series of articles made to explain the major functionalities of the game twelve days before the official launch. These articles are open to all and will still be available after the game’s release date.

Craft City is an ecosystem by itself. Every player cohabits with each other on the same map and on the same server. With this ecosystem, the game provides to players a global market across the globe. This market is where every crafted object can be acquired or sold.

The price of every tradable object is based on the offer-demand principle. The more the players buy something, the higher the price will rise. On the other hand, the more they sell a type of object, the lower the price will fall.

Not everything is tradable. For example, you cannot trade factories you’ve just built into your neighborhood. The rule of thumb is if it is an object and it has been produced from the workshop, it can be sold on the market.

Those who are wise enough to buy or sell at the right time can generate huge profits and ultimately become richer than any others. This market has been designed to replicate the real life stock market without its complexity. If you are a trader or a fan of the stock market in general, you will surely like the Craft City Global market!
